MSI GE620 And GR620 Gaming Laptops Posted: 10 Mar 2011 07:32 PM PST MSI today introduced two new gaming laptops namely the GE620 and GR620. As part of its G-series gaming laptops, the MSI GE620 and GR620 feature Intel’s second generation Core i7 quad core processor along with the nVidia GeForce GT 540M discrete graphics card. Both laptops also adopt Intel’s latest generation Turbo Boost 2.0, THX TruStudio Pro smart wrap around sound, and MSI Cinema Pro technology. Other features include a HD720p webcam, USB 3.0 ports and a facial recognition software. No word on pricing at this time. [HotHardware]

Lenovo Classmate+ PC For Kids Posted: 10 Mar 2011 07:19 PM PST Lenovo has unveiled their newest 10.1-inch netbook which is designed especially for kids. Called the Classmate+ PC, this mini laptop packs a 10.1-inch LED-backlight display, an Intel Atom N455 processor, a 1GB/2GB RAM, up to 250GB hard drive or SSD option, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader, 3x USB 2.0 ports, 2x built-in 1.5W speakers, WiFi, a 3- or 6-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 OS.
