Specs-wise, the machine sports an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 WLED-backlight display, a choice of either Intel Core i5-2537M, Core i7-2617M or Core i7-2657M processor, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB hard drive or 256GB SSD, 3G or WiMAX 4G connectivity and an 8-cell battery. Samsung 9 Series Laptop With 11.1-inch HD LED-backlit Display To Be Released In The States Posted: 20 Mar 2011 11:32 AM PDT Samsung has officially released the Samsung 9 Series laptop in the US market. As a direct competitor to the Apple Macbook Air, the Samsung 9 uses Duralumin, which is stronger than Apple’s MacBook Air aluminum alloy. The Samsung 9 Series is powered by a 1.40GHz second generation Intel CoreTM i5 Processor 2537M (turbo up to 2.3GHz), a 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD), a 13.3-inch (1366 x 768) HD LED-backlit SuperBright Plus display, an Intel HD GT2 integrated graphics and WiFi connectivity.
