ASUS Unveils K53E 15.6-inch Laptop Posted: 23 Mar 2011 12:55 PM PDT ASUS is back with a new Intel “Sandy Bridge”-based laptop, the 15.6-inch ASUS K53E. This laptop is currently available in two configuration such as the ASUS K53E-A1 and K53E-B1. The former uses an Intel Core i3-2310M processor, while the latter adopts an Intel Core i5-2410M processor. Both laptops come jam packed with an Intel GMA HD integrated GPU, a 6GB of DDR3 memory, a 640GB hard drive, a DVD burner, a 1366 x 768 LED back-light display and a 6-cell battery. The ASUS K53E features a 0.3MP web camera, Altec Lansing speakers, 802.11n wireless, a Gigabit Ethernet port, three USB 2.0 connectors, HDMI and VGA video outputs, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and IceCool Technology that keeps palm rests cool.
