Nokia N900 gets more Community love update CSSU – Maemo Posted: 10 Mar 2011 03:32 PM PST   The Community SSU for the Nokia N900 gets another update today, taking it to version PR1.3.3.7-7 / 20.2010.36-maemo13 What is the Community SSU ? Seamless Software Update (SSU), is the term Nokia used to brand the over-the-air updates of Maemo. Community Seamless Software Update (CSSU) is being developed by the Maemo community, for the Maemo community. It aims to deliver fixes which can’t be delivered easily through Extras, such as core Maemo packages. It won’t, however, bundle software which can be installed through the Extras repositories. Changes hildon desktop - Added zoom in/out support in hildon-desktop (Ctrl + Shift + s / f) - Improved press effect - Implemented Landscape orientation lock - status area orientation lock-applet - Initial release, this is the orientation – lock applet in the status area Initial reports are that the device feels a lot faster with this update (as the usually do … Placebo ?
