The North Face laptop backpacks are a bit more colorful as you can choose the desired shade. The price is a bit high indeed, $99.99, but they come with a lifetime warranty and it provides a lot of pockets, so you have place to store any gadget you have or any tiny item. Design is attractive, the backpack is comfortable, sturdy and it is a pleasure to carry it around. And to sum up with a final backpack, we can say a few words about the Mobile Edge backpack. It offers a secure experience for your laptop, can fit up to 17.3" systems, has the checkpoint-friendly feature enhanced, a lot of interior pockets, ergonomic design and padded shoulder straps.   |

With such good examples of refurbished laptops, you might end up wondering if you really need a new system in the first place. Usually the laptop you intend buying these days comes with a pre-installed version of Windows on it. Sometimes you might agree with the specifications of the laptop, but sometimes you might disagree upon one. When it comes to newer models of Sony Vaio laptops, they usually come with Windows Vista or the latest Windows 7 operating system. You should not worry about this issue, as you can easily install Windows XP on your Sony Vaio laptop. In case the system is not designed for this type of operating system, you will have to look around for drivers in order to make the laptop work. It is also advised to do a bit of research upon your model and see exactly if the process is available for your laptop, so you don't end up creating a mess. What is more, remember to save any data you have on the laptop before starting to install Windows XP, because everything will be erased from the hard drive.  So how to install XP on a Sony Vaio laptop? The process is actually easy and you need to follow some steps. What you will need in the first place is the Windows XP disc. And now, let's get into the job. First of all, you need to insert the Windows XP disc into the laptop. In case your laptop is on, restart it and if it is off, then turn it on. During the boot up process, press the ESC key, or look at the bottom of the screen for the prompt which let's you know which key to press in order to choose the drive to boot up from. Along the process, you will also learn how to install an operating system and be able to do it next time without following any instructions.  For the downgrade installation, you will have to get in the BIOS menu and navigate through the boot configuration menu. You can now insert the Windows XP disc and restart the computer. The instructions will appear on the screen and in the end you will have to insert the serial number, set time zone and add the username.
