PySide: Python for Qt 1.0 released! Posted: 05 Mar 2011 04:11 AM PST Following the release of their Python for Qt v1.0 RC1 a couple of weeks ago the PySide team is now “thrilled” (their word not mine) to announce the release of PySide: Python for Qt version 1.0.0. General improvements are in terms of bug fixes and what the team call “releaseable quality”, the next phase will be to concentrate on features.   Binary packages available for most Linux distributions, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Maemo 5 in addition to the source code packages. MeeGo Conference round two – May 23-25 San Francisco Posted: 04 Mar 2011 04:34 PM PST   The second MeeGo conference has just opened its doors for Registrations and also a call for Papers which is basically an invitation for proposals for presentations. Anyone who was lucky enough to attend the First ever MeeGo Conference in Dublin in November 2010 will tell you this is not to be missed (including me). There are set to be two MeeGo Conferences per year in line with the update schedule for the Operating System.
